HI leute,

mal wieder ein kleines prob, wir wollen auf einem MSI boar (K7N420 Pro) Debian installieren, das hat auch mehr oder weniger geklappt nur ohne X11 jetzt haben wir schon seit zwei tagen versucht die treiber von der graka zu installieren da er immer meint wenn wir startx eingeben das er den nvxxx kernel oder so :) nicht einbinden kann und dann einen IO error ausgibt was mit 104?) wie muss man vorgehen um den treiber richtig installiert zu bekommen?

haben auch schon die rpm files gesaugt, mit alein in deb umgewandelt und versucht dann zu installieren er hat auch mal munter was gemacht aber die meldung ist deswegen nicht wegegangen.

Wenn es eines gibt, was 1) ich hasse und 2) unproduktiv für eine eventuelle Hilfe ist, dann sind das unpräzise Fehlermeldungen. Kein "oder so". Ohne genauere Meldung wird wohl nur wenig Hilfe kommen (ausgenommen sein bitte alle Hellseher).

apt-cache search nvidia-kernel

Das Modul installieren und dafür sorgen, dass es zur Boottime geladen wird. Im Zweifelsfalle /usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-[TAB]/* lesen und/oder hier fragen.

Hi,

wir haben nun

apt-cache search nvidia-kernel

ausgeführt. Scheint erfolgreich gewesen zu sein.

doch wissen wir nicht wie wir das Modul beom booten laden sollen. In den /usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-[TAB]*/ steht nur drin wie man den kernel kompiliert, und das haben wir nach meinem Wissen auch schon gemacht.

wobei die erste modline standard ist, das nächste mal reicht das ende der log file
