Linux DLNA Server Problem mit VLC

Moin zusammen und ein liebes Hallo

Ich habe 2 Laptops mit gleichen Systemen (Leap 15.3), beide hängen im gleichen Netz und bislang lief alles reibungslos.
Auf einem Laptop läuft MINIDLNA als Service. Handy (mit VLC) und TV können drauf zugreifen und einwandfrei Filme streamen.

Gestern Abend wollte ich - wie mit dem Handy - von Laptop 2 mittels VLC einen Film streamen. Erfolglos.
VLC hat mir zwar alles angezeigt, jedoch beim Auswählen eines Films diesen nicht angespielt und rumgeeiert (wie auch immer ihr es euch vorstellen mögt).

Daraufhin VLC geschlossen, Konsole geöffnet, VLC eingegeben und gestartet und weiterer Vorgang wie zuvor.
Ich frage mich, was mir VLC damit sagen möchte:

Wie kann es sein, dass das streamen bei TV und Handy funktioniert, beim Linux Laptop jedoch nicht?
Minidlna sagt mir in der Logdatei nichts davon, außer das es läuft.
Wo kann ich nachsehen? Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ich habe nun folgendes gemacht, da auf Laptop 1 dieser DLNA Server bereits erfolgreich lief aber Laptop 2 dafür als endgültiger Server eingerichtet wurde.
Die Konfiguration von Laptop 2 wurde mit der Konfiguration von Laptop 1 abgeglichen und einige Stellen verändert.
Woran es nun letztendlich lag das es jetzt funktioniert werde ich ggfs noch feststellen.

Schon komisch.
Selbst nach mehreren Konfigurationsänderungen auf Laptop 2 (im Sinne wie zunächst, als es nicht funktionierte) funktioniert es.
Egal, was ich ändere.
Da soll noch jemand durchsteigen.

Mutmaßlich hat das was mit DNS Cache + DHCP zu tun, ist jedenfalls ein berüchtigte Ecke, wenn es um Probleme dieser Art geht.
