Hallo,

habe ein Intel Nuc 8i7HVK bekommen. Hier drauf würde ich gerne Linux bzw. Ubuntu installieren.

Leider habe ich das Problem das sämtlich Liveversion egal welcher Distribution beim starten des X-Servers hängen bleiben.

Wenn die X-server stehen bleiben (egal welche Live-Distribution ich ausprobiert habe) und ich einem aneren Runlevel wechseln und mich einlogge,
und versuche das Logfile vom X-Server auszulesen erhale ich folgende Medungen (Im Bild des Links zu sehen)

Ich vermute der X-Server (Mesatreiber) erkennt die Grafikkarte nicht, aber ich habe hier dies gefunden:

Doch für mich stellt sich nun die frage wie kann ich diesen Treiber auf den Linux-Boot-Stick legen das er bei der Starten auch benutzt wird?
Am libesten würde mir ja Manjaro gefallen als Rolling-system damit ich das ja nur einal installieren muss :)

Habe Hierzu leider keinen Link gefunden wie ich solchen "neueren" treiber aus dem Internet lade und benutzten kann.
Wäre schon dankbar wenn man mir hier einen Wink geben könnte wie ich da vorzugehen habe.

An Distributuionen hatte ich folgende Ausprobiert:

das neuste Knoppix
das neueste Manjaro (18 Beta2)
das neuste Linux-Mint (19 Beta)
Ubuntu Beta 18.10
Kubuntu LTS 18.04

Installieren konnte ich nur ein Grundlinux (Arch-Linux) ohne X-Server.


Wäre für jeden Tip / Hilfe / Link dankbar der mich etwas näher ans ziel bringen würde ein Linux zu installieren.

Wow habe die mit der neuesten Ubuntu-Beta und der LinuxMint-Beta probiert. tatsächlich booten die dann durch und ich kann das Livesystem verwenden :cool:

Installieren würde ich mir aber doch lieber gerne Manjaro-Linux diese bootet nicht durch...
Meinst du das würde genügen wenn ich auf dem USB-Stick einfach die Datei direkt editiere?

In deren LiveCD scheinen die eine andere Art von Bootoptionen anzubieten, da funktioniert das "nomodeset" leider nicht :(
