Kein GUI unter Ubuntu 15.10 installierbar

[Noether]

Nachdem die Desktops von KDE, LXDE, openbox und Plasma unbrauchbar schwarz wurden habe ich erstmal mit einem neuen User getestet und feststellen müssen das das Problem unabhängig vom User ist.
Also hab ich deinstalliert mit purge:

sddm sddm-theme-maui
kdm kdm-theme-bespin
kde-baseapps kdebase-bin kded5
plasma-framework plasma-desktop plasma-workspace

Danach machte ich reboot und versuchte neu zu installieren, aber das funktioniert nicht:

> aptitude install kdm
No candidate version found for kdm

Ebenso mit dem KDM-Nachfolger SSDM:

Wie bekomme ich wieder eine GUI?

Ja, das war ein Tippfehler.
sddm ist installiert, aber trotzdem habe ich auch nach reboot kein GUI.

dürfte bei Dir ähnlich sein, also was sagen die dort genannten Kommandos?

Funktioniert's denn, wenn du Xorg per starte aufrufst? Also mit einer $HOME/.xinitrc, in der Du bspw. startkde aufrufst? Wenn nicht, bitte logs von Xorg posten.
Wenn das jedoch funktioniert und Du "nur" keinen DM installieren kannst, wird's an einem Deiner 100 repos in der sources.list liegen. Bloß wie man der Sache auf die Spur kommt...? Da müsstest Du die Auflösung der Abhängigkeiten in apt debuggen. Keine Ahnung wie.

Es ist ein HP Spectre XT Touchsmart 15-4000eg (C1S43EA).

Inzwischen habe ich auch ubuntu-desktop installiert, aber nach reboot weiterhin kein GUI.
Und wenn ich als User "startx" eingebe, kommt die Meldung "server already running" obwohl keiner läuft.

Nachtrag: Ich habe nun auch xserver-xorg-core mittels purge deinstalliert und nach reboot neu installiert aber auch nach weiterem reboot kein GUI und immer noch die obige Fehlermeldung, auch in der /var/log/Xorg.0.log.

aptitude install cinnamon mate unity

aber weiterhin kein GUI und auch startx bringt die alte Fehlermeldung.
Bleibt da nur Neuinstallation?

Ich habe nun genauer nachgesehen mit

pgrep dm -l
pgrep X -l

und es zeigte sich das versteckt sddm und X liefen!
Nach

systemctl stop sddm

und Killen von X bringt startx nun ein Desktop von LXDE!
Das funktioniert ohne das viele Flächen schwarz sind, als ohne den Bug weshalb ich reparierte.
Allerdings kann ich mich da nicht ausloggen und auch Sperren geht nicht.
Und eigentlich möchte ich wieder KDE/Plasma haben.
Deshalb habe ich lxde-core mit purge entfernt, aber nach startx erscheint nur ein Mauszeiger vor einem ansonsten völlig schwarzen Desktop, mit kurz nach dem Start dem Fenster "System program problem detected", aber egal was man da anklickt kommt danach nur schwarz, mit einem weißen Mauszeiger
drauf.

dpkg-reconfigure gdm

habe ich jeweils gdm, lightdm, lxdm und sddm als default DisplayManager eingestellt, aber das änderte überhaupt nichts und startete nach startx auch keinen DM, wie "pgrep dm -l" zeigt.
Das manuelle Starten mittels

systemctl start sddm

startet zwar sddm und X, aber das gibt einen schwarzen Desktop ohne irgendein Fenster oder Mauszeiger. Auf Konsole 7 ist nur ein unbeweglicher konstantant heller Strich (Prompt), ohne Reaktion auf Eingaben.
Also irgendwie läuft sddm, nur nicht richtig.
