Ich habe ein paar Modifizierungen an meinem Rechner (CPU-Lüfter ausgetauscht) vorgenommen, die Festplatten abgestöpselt und danach wieder angestöpselt. Jetzt bootet mein Ubuntu 8.10. nicht mehr.
Und das weitaus größere Problem ist: es kommt noch nicht mal eine Fehlermeldung. An der Stelle an der normalerweise der Grub-Bootlader erscheint, passiert jetzt einfach gar nichts. Ich habe keine Möglichkeit etwas einzugeben, der Bootvorgang bleibt einfach stehen.
Aber jetzt kommts: Wenn ich von der Ubuntu Installations-CD boote und dann "boot from first disk" auswhähle, bootet meine installiertes System einwandfrei.
Danach habe ich grub neu geschrieben (grub-install /dev/sda). Aber nach dem Neustart habe ich immer noch das gleiche Problem.
Ich will nicht jedes Mal mit der Ubuntu-Installations-CD starten. Weiß jmd Rat?
