Firefox will nicht arbeiten-Ich finde den Fehler nicht

Hi Linuxer, ein weiterer Versuch dem Problem auf die Schliche zu kommen. Ich glaube es schon das ein oder andere Mal angesprochen zu haben. Lösen konnte es noch niemand.
Ich habe mittlerweile schon ein neues Mainboard und neuen RAM installiert. Obendrein habe ich nun das System in diesem Fall KUbuntu neu installiert- Aber es ist noch immer das gleiche Problem. Der Firefox und sämtliche andere Mozilla basierende Browser starten einfach nicht. Glücklicherweise steht nun nicht mehr nur " Speicherzugriffsfehler" da, sondern einiges mehr.
Aber ich vermag es nicht zu interpretieren.

Ebenso schmiert der Konqueror unter Ubuntu bei bestimmten Seiten ab. DAnn gibt es eine Rückverfolgung die so aussieht.

Sorry für die langen Posts aber mir fällt keine andere Idee ein. Liegt es nun am Rechner, an der Hardware, die fast ausgetauscht ist, oder lediglich am OS? Ich würde das sehr gerne aufklären.

also, mir fallen dazu jetzt spontan die Stichworte "Live-CD" und "memtest" ein. Kaputtes RAM sollte es natürlich nicht sein, da Du das ja schon ausgetauscht hast. Oder hast Du etwa die CPU übertaktet?

naja nun, erst mal guten Morgen,

all diese Sachen sind mir natürlich längst bekannt.Ich bin schon recht versiert, aber mir gehen eben die Ideen aus. ;-)
Also als erstes versuche ich natürlich eine LiveCD ala Knoppix,Kannotix und was es da noch so alles gibt. Fehlanzeige. Nicht mal unter Knoppix startet der Firefox. :-( Das kann in erster Linie damit zu tun haben das die Knoppix CD im Eimer ist, oder eben der RAM. Beides ist auszuschließen.Arbeitsspeicher wurde schon für das alte Board nachgekauft (SDRAM) und nun da ein neues Sockel A Board K7NF2-Raid verbaut ist, auch mit einem neuen Riegel DDR RAM ausgestattet, kann ich das ebenso ausschließen.
Übertaktet ist hier nix. Läuft ganz normal mit niedlichen ca.800 Mhz Eine AMD CPU.
Was sagt Ihr denn zu den Fehlermeldungen? Lassen die denn gar keinen Rückschluss zu?
Das System mit dem Fehler hat ein aktuelles KUbuntu mit dem 2.6.15-26 Kernel und der 386 Arch.
Auf meinem Gentoo System gibt es diesen Fehler nicht. Auch das ist natürlich aktuell. ABer Javascript Fehler kenne ich sonst überhaupt nicht.

Was kann es noch sein? Wie kommt man diesem Fehler auf die Spur?

Einiges habe ich nun doch noch gefunden.Ich weiß nicht ob das überhaupt der Fehler war, aber es ließ mich immerhin den Firefox öffnen.Offenbar hat Ubuntu einen anderen Pfad vorgesehen als die Firefox Entwickler.
Jedenfalls hat das System eine symbolische Verlinkung nach /usr/lib/firefox/firefox angelegt. Diese Bibliothek gibt es aber nicht. Sie muss heißen firefox-bin. Also habe ich nun den vorhanden sym link gelöscht und neu angelegt.

ln -s /usr/lib/firefox/firefox-bin mozilla-firefox
Dann noch im KDE Menü den Eintrag angepasst und nun lässt sich der Firefox starten. hmmm :eek: manchmal ist seltsam. Sollte es wirklich so banal gewesen sein? War ich vielleicht betriebsblind?
Ich schaue mal wie es sich mit den anderen Browsern der Mozilla Gattung verhällt.
