./make.sh klappt bei Ati-Treiberinstallation nicht

Hallo.
Ich versuche bisher noch erfolglos die Treiber für meine ATI Mobility FireGL T2 zu installieren. System ist Debian Sarge mit Kernel 2.6.8-2-386. kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386 und kernel-headers-2.6.8-2 sind installiert und ich habe auch schon mit alien das *.rpm von der ATI-Seite in *.deb-Format umgewandelt.
Sobald ich allerdings so wie u.a. auch in dieser Zusammenfassung (http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=179596&page=2&pp=15&highlight=Ati+Mobility+firegl) beschrieben vorgehe, und dann bei ./make.sh im Ordner /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/ ausführe kommt folgender Fehler:

apt-get gcc-3.4 habe ich auch schon ausgeführt sollte also auch nicht da dran liegen, daß der Compiler nicht installiert ist.

Wäre dankbar wenn mir jmd. sagen könnte worans liegt.....

So ich habe mich gerade nochmal zusammengerissen und ein wenig gegoogelt. apt-get install gcc hat dann das bewirkt was benötigt war. Ich frage mich zwar warum gcc-3.4 das nicht kann aber egal....

Einziges Problem ist jetzt noch das z.b. Quake3 nur in nem Kleinen fenster läuft was aber nicht der Fall sein sollte. Mal gucken wie ich das noch hinbiegen kann.....
