Beim Kernel 2.6.10 ist ja ein Treiber fuer den Atmel 'at76c5xx' beigelegt.
Ich war sehr interessiert, da ich mit den beiden gaengigen Treibern von Sourceforge
(atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/)und von Berlios (at76c503a.berlios.de/) nicht ganz gluecklich war.

Ich habe also den Treiber fest in den Kernel einkompiliert, weiss aber nun nicht, wie ich ihn jetzt auch nutzen kann.
Hat jemand vielleicht ein paar Infos fuer mich?

Du installiert dir die wireless-tools und dann probierst du mal mit iwconfig dich mit nem AP oder Router zu verbinden.

Wireless tools sind installiert.
Aber ich muss ja ein hardware-device angeben, z.B. wlan0, bei 'iwconfig wlan0 mode managed channel 13 essid WLAN'.
Und ich habe im Moment leider kein solches device, weiss bzw. nicht wie es jetzt benannt ist.
Das Problem ist, dass ich leider nicht weiss, ob der Treiber arbeitet, meinen Chip korrekt erkennt, weil er sich halt ueberhaupt nicht zu Wort meldet...

Ich waere auch ueber Ehrfahrungsberichte sehr dankbar.
