Problem mit Lilo >Linux bootet nicht

Hallo,
ich hab ein kleines Problem mit Lilo, wenn ich den PC einschalte und er versucht zu booten steth da LILO- und mehr nicht, er bleibt hängen.

So sieht meine lilo.conf aus:
disk = /dev/hdb
bios = 0x80
boot = /dev/hdb
vga = normal
read-only
menu-scheme = Wg:kw:Wg:Wg
lba32
prompt
timeout = 80
message = /boot/message

image = /boot/vmlinuz
label = linux
root = /dev/hdb3
initrd = /boot/initrd
append = "enableapic"

image = /boot/vmlinuz.suse
label = failsafe
root = /dev/hdb3
initrd = /boot/initrd.suse
append = "disableapic ide=nodma apm=off"

Ich hoffe jemand kann mir helfen.

Hi,

hast du davor einen neuen Kernel kompiliert ?

Wenn ja, -> führ einfach mal "lilo" aus.

Wenn nein, führ auch mal "lilo" aus.

P.S.: Ich Depp, dazu musst du ja erstmal ins System :ugly:

Also schnapp dir die SuSE-Rettungs-CD und installiere lilo neu.

Oder schnapp dir irgendeine Live-CD und begib dich per "chroot" auf deine Festplatte und führe lilo dann aus ( mounte die Platte z.B. auf /mntpunkt und dann "chroot /mntpunkt" ). Das schreibt lilo neu in den MBR.
