Was macht SuSE da nur?

Meine Platte örgelt hier grad seit nen paar Minuten einfach so vor sich hin, obwohl ich gar nix mache. Also mal "top" eingegeben, um zu sehen, was grad so läuft. Da stoße ich auf einen find-Aufruf, der wohl schon seit einiger Zeit läuft
ein "ps -ef | grep find" gibt mir dann sowas hier:

Soweit ich weiß ist das "updatedb". Das Programm erstellt eine Datenbank aller Dateien, auf die man dann recht schnell mit "locate" zugreifen kann.

Wenn dir das nicht gefällt kannst du den Cron-Job auch ausschalten und "updatedb" hin und wieder von Hand machen, falls du locate benutzt.
